Andrew Han, M.D.

Dr. Andrew Han is a board-certified gastroenterologist dedicated to providing cutting-edge, patient-centered digestive care. He offers a comprehensive approach to gut health that integrates digestion, nutrition, and overall wellness.

A proud US Army veteran who deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Dr. Han brings a strong foundation of leadership and discipline to his medical practice. He earned his medical degree and completed his Internal Medicine Chief Residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He subsequently completed his Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship at Indiana University, distinguishing himself by being selected to serve as Chief Fellow.

Before transitioning to private practice, Dr. Han served as the Deputy Chief of Endoscopy at the South Texas VA Health System and as an Associate Program Director for the GI Fellowship at UT Health San Antonio. His commitment to procedural safety and excellence have resulted in publications examining best practices involving colonoscopies.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Han is proud to call San Antonio home. He maintains his own functional fitness through CrossFit, and can usually be found spending his free time cheering on his two sons as they play soccer.
